REMO are an American company specialising in making "world" percussion from synthetic materials which overcome the problems associated with animal skins i.e. heating to tune.

The model I sell are the Renaissance range. N.B. this product has been redesigned and is currently manufactured with an Acousticon shell and a fixed pre-tuned SUEDE®drumhead. Suede’s proprietary process creates a texture on both sides of the head that enhances the production and reflection of sound creating a voice that’s a cross between the brightness and resonance of clear heads and the midrange articulation of coated.

N.B. Each drum varies fractionally on sound and tone. The drum you may buy could sound a little different to the ones in the videos. I test all the drums before I buy them and I consider them all to be of an excellent standard.

As I usually only have one example of each drum at any one time, I prefer to create a personalised invoice for each order which will reflect the P+P charges for each order. So there is no option to "Buy It Now"

Payment can be done through PayPal, Bank Transfer or Cheque.

Choose a preferred payment option and then please contact me via the Contact Page to let me know you want the item reserving and how you wish to pay. I will then send you either a personalised Paypal Invoice, the bank details for a transfer of funds or details on where to send a cheque. N.B. orders can only be dispatched once payment has cleared.

Postage is extra to the price of the drum and will vary accordingly, there is no set charge per drum as some are heavy than others and I am not trying to make extra money on the P+P - I will calculate a fair and accurate postage quote for you.

N.B. for orders outside of the U.K. - postage of heavy items like Darabukas can be very expensive adding around £50 - £150 to the total cost, please think seriously if you can afford that before asking me to work out postage costs.

For UK orders; a darabuka is approximately £15.00 per darabuka.

Please note with the animal head drums skin, you will need to heat the drum head to make it sound it's best. The animal heads are affixed to the drum with glue and are NOT tuneable. They will always react to changes in temperature and humidity. I heated the drums before I played them for filming. If you would prefer not to do this, please look at the REMO models I sell.
